Verlenging Challenge juli/ Prolongation Challenge July: make a card for a man

Eigenlijk hadden we besloten om in de maand augustus geen challenge te organiseren daar er zoveel mensen op vakantie zijn. Maar toen bedachten we: waarom niet de challenge van juli verlengen? Dan  heeft iedereen die nog mee wil doen even tijd en valt er geen gat. Zo gezegd, zo gedaan: De Challenge, een kaart voor een man wordt met een maand verlengd, dus de deadline is niet 28 juli, maar 28 augustus. Heb je al meegedaan? Misschien heb je nog inspiratie voor nog een kaart? Heb je nog niet meegedaan? Dit is je kans, je hebt immers nog een hele maand de tijd! The idea was not to host a challenge in August as so many people are on vacation. But then we thought, why not prolong the July challenge? In that way we're not creating a gap, and people who have not found the time yet, still can join in. And that's what we did: The July challenge is prolonged and the deadline is now the 28th of August. So have you already joined in? Why not make a second or third card? A birtday card with the XL White Butterflies.

Coloring with Museum aquarelpencils.

At last I used a Carabelle embossingfolder "courier"

and slighty polished.

Ik heb een aantal stempels gecombineerd voor deze kaart , de "crows" en de "

Catframe" Ik vond het zelf wel een geslaagde combi. Ik ben benieuwd wat jullie er van vinden...

For this card I combined the "Crows" and the "Cat Frame". I thougt it was cute and I'am looking forward to your response....

Zonnebloemen/ Sunflowers

De aanzet voor deze kaart maakte ik op onze designteam dag. Witte embossing poeder en inkleuren met Zig-markers. De ondergrond is ingekleurd met water, een penseel en Distress Reïnkers.

I started this card on our fabulous designteam gathering. It is white embossing with Zig markers. The background was created with a brush, water and distress-reïnkers.

Life without dreams...

Onder bezielende leiding van Aletta hebben we heerlijk zitten kleuren met Zig-markers op onze DTdag. Dit is de zogenaamde "kletskledder" techniek. ;-) Dwz. je kleddert wat kleur op je met stempels en embossingpoeder geprepareerde aquarelpapier. En vervolgens spray je er een aanzienlijke hoeveelheid water op. Drogen en klaar! Met een strijkijzer verwijder je vervolgens de embossingpoeder (tussen twee velletjes keukenrol) 

Ik heb hier en daar nog wat extra kleur toegevoegd voor extra diepte en de randjes gepoetst met stormy sky distress.  

De kaart is helemaal af met de tekst van de allernieuwste Art Journey stempellap Lily.

Prepare your watercolor paper with stamps and clear embossingpowder. Quickly scribble some color onto your design with Zig-markers (or any other water soluble marker). Spritz with a lot of water and see what happens?! Dry with a heattool and ad some shading. Remove the embossing with an iron. (between two paper towels).

Finish the card with the beautiful quote from our newest Art Journey stampset Lily.

   We zijn weer hartstikke trots om ook deze maand weer een nieuwe stempel set te tonen en we hebben het de toepasselijke naam Lily gegeven. De meiden van ons designteam hebben de stempels alweer een poosje in huis en hebben onderstaande prachtige kaarten gemaakt.

Nou heb ik teveel gezegd? Beauties van stempels en nog mooiere kaarten. Zeer getalenteerde dames in ons designteam, kan niet anders zeggen!! Oh ja de Chinese tekens betekent Lotus Bloem voor de mensen die dat graag willen weten.

Didn't I tell you? Beautiful stamps and even more beautiful cards made by the very talented ladies of the designteam. I can't help feeling proud. Oh and by the way, the Chinese sign say's: Lotus Flower.
