Golden Oldie's Zentangle van Tineke.

Was in mijn bestanden aan het bladeren en kwam deze prachtige Zentangles van onze "oud" Designlid Tineke Koedam tegen. Tineke is een ware kunstenares als het op Zentangelen aankomt en haar fantasie is iets wat ik enorm bewonder. Ik hoop dat jullie er ook (opnieuw) van genieten.

I was looking through my files and came accross these great Zentangles from our former Designteammember Tineke Koedam. Tineke is great in combining stamps and Zentangle and I always admire her different way of looking at stamps. Enjoy!

Mini's

 Rond de kerstperiode maakte ik deze minikaartjes.

Some mini cards I made during the holidays.

Ik stopte ze in zelfgemaakte envelopjes.
Die zijn ongeveer 7cm,  5,5cm en 5,5cm

I also made the tiny envelopes.
Size is about 7cm,  6,5cm and 5,5cm

Op deze foto zie je hoe mini ze zijn.

New: In the Spotlight

Vanaf vandaag zullen we maandelijks 1 van onze Art Journey sheets of losse stempels eens wat in het "zonnetje zetten", met andere woorden: we krijgen een nieuw rubriek genaamd: IN THE SPOTLIGHT.

Elke maand zal dit een andere sheet zijn en zullen we kaarten laten zien die met deze stempels gemaakt zijn. We laten weer eens wat oudere kaarten zien die je  misschien alweer vergeten bent, en als er tijd en inspiratie is zullen de Designteamleden ook nieuwe kaarten maken met de desbetreffende sheet.

En om het nog leuker te maken, kun je in de betreffende maand die sheet of stempel ook nog eens met 20% korting kopen .

As of today we will introduce a new item called: IN THE SPOTLIGHT.
Every month one Art Journey sheet or stamp will be chosen and we will show some cards made with this stamp selection. Just to prompt your memory we will show some golden oldies, but if the Designteam members have the time and inspiration they will make some new cards too. Who knows!

The World is a Rose

 

The World is Rose...

With the beautiful new sheet from Art Journey ROSES 2, I've made this Card. I stamped the tile with Versamark on red paper and embossed it with Red Glitter Embossingpowder from Judikins. I cut the tiles out and matted them on black paper, and glued this panel onto a red standing Card.

Met de prachtige nieuwe sheet van Art Journey Roses 2 heb ik deze kaart gemaakt.

Het tegeltje ik heb gestempeld op rood papier met Versamark en bestrooid met embossingpoeder Glitzer Rot van Judikins en dit verhit. Ik heb ze apart uitgesneden en gemat op zwart papier. Vervolgens als paneeltje op geplakt op de rode staande kaart.

 

I stamped the panel below with the roses, from the sheet Beautiful Roses, with aged Mahogany.( it doesn't show well in the picture.) Over the background of the roses I stamped the text with black Ink.

Het onderste paneeltje heb ik bestempeld met de rozen van de sheet Beautiful Roses met Aged Mahogany. Op de foto is het wat slecht te zien. Daaroverheen de tekst gestempeld met zwarte inkt.

Nu het stof in Zeist is gaan liggen kunnen de nieuwe Art Journey stempels getoond worden. Met de 'Roses 2' set heb ik een harmonica boekje van bierviltjes gemaakt.

Time to show the new Art Journey stamps this week. I made a harmonica folded book from beer mats with the new 'Roses 2' stamp set. 

De rozen zijn afgedrukt met verschillende kleuren Distress Inkt.

I stamped the roses with Distress Ink.

De mooie quote op de cover behoort ook tot de 'Roses 2' stempelset.

The quote on the cover belongs to the 'Roses 2' stamp set too.

Telkens 2 bierviltjes op elkaar gekleefd met een reep stof ertussen. Een eenvoudige manier om pagina's met elkaar te verbinden.

I glued the beer mats together 2 by 2 and put a piece of torn fabric in between to connect the pages.

Eerst boekpapier op de viltjes gekleefd. Daar een laag gesso over gesmeerd.

I glued book paper on the coasters first. Put a layer of gesso on top.

Acryl inkt en water gebruikt om de pagina's te kleuren.

Used acrylic ink and water to color the pages.

Verschillende tekststempels gecombineerd.

Combined several text stamps.
