Mijn favoriete jaargetijde is dan eindelijk buiten ook echt begonnen: herfst ! Dus gelijk een mixed media kaart gestempeld in deze sfeer ! De achtergrond is gemaakt met een servet !
De volgende stempelsets heb ik gebruikt (klik=zien): Fungus Fairy Tales, Imagine & Inspire, Tulips, Insects, Grasses, Freya en Branches.

No one is too old for Fairy Tales

Voor de zomerchallenge maakte ik deze kaart, het thema was Kabouters!

Daar heeft Art Journey een heel mooi setje van samen en met de paddestoelen zijn er  hele mooie combinatie te maken!

De achtergrond maakte ik met met 2 kleuren distressinkt met de acrylblok en water op aquarel papier,de kabouters en paddestoel stempelde ik op een apart stukje papier, kleurde het in met de Zig clear color penseels en knipte het uit..

De achtergrond stempelde ik met donkergroen en gebruikte verschillende stempels van Art Journey. Ook de tekst op een apart stukje papier gestempeld uit geknipt en opgeplakte en er een zwart lijntje omgezet.

I made this card for the summer challenge. Gnomes was the theme.Art Journey has a wonderful stamp set  with gnomes and you can combine it perfectly with the mushrooms. I used 2 colors of distressink for the background, I put the ink on an acrylic block, added water and used watercolor paper, I stamped the gnomes and the mushrooms on a separate piece of paper, colored them with Zig markers and cut them out. I stamped the background with dark green and  various Art Journey stamps. I also stamped the words on a separate piece of paper, cut it out, glued it to my card and drew a black line around it.

Hallo, Ellen is er weer! Vandaag heb ik een tag voor jullie die op dezelfde manier gemaakt is als mijn workshop-tag van gisteren. Met andere stempels en andere kleuren, maar dezelfde techniek. Ik heb hier oa de nieuwe Fairy Girl gebruikt.

Hi, it's Ellen again! Today I have a tag for you that is made in the same way as my Workshop tag I showed yesterday. I only changed the stamps and the colours, the technique is the same. I used the new stamp set Fairy Girl here.

Oh ja, op deze tag heb ik de achtergrond gestempeld (de vlinders), in plaats van met een template gewerkt zoals gisteren.

Notice that I stamped the background butterflies in colour, instead of using a template, like I did yesterday.

Fairy Tale People

Deze maand heeft Art Journey verschillende nieuwe sheetjes uitgegeven, die ook weer heel goed passen bij de paddestoelen stempels, ik gebruikte  op deze kaart de Fairy Tale People en de Fairy Tales  Fungus en Ben's Boots.

Ik gebruikte een plattegrond van een wandel route, en markeerde die. De stempels heb ik ingekleurd  met Zig markers,uitgeknipte en op de kaart geplakt.

This month Art Journey released several new stampsheets that match well with the mushroom stamps. For my card I used the Fairytale People, Fairytale fungus and Ben's boots. I used part of a walking map and marked the route. I colored the stamps with Zig markers, cut the, out and glued them to my card.

Er was eens.../Once upon a time....

Ben erg tevreden over mijn laatste lay-out die ik in mijn A5 journal heb gemaakt. Ik maak normaal eigenlijk nooit dubbele lay-out's, maar sinds deze poging denk ik dat ik het maar vaker moet proberen. De ondergrond is gestart met 2 soorten scrapbookpapier met daarover heen acrylverf en een template met blaadjes. Dat gaf me meteen de inspiratie voor dit dromerig bos tafereeltje.

I am really happy with the last lay-out I did in my A5 journal. Normally I never make dubbel page layouts but after this one I think I might try it more often. I started the background with 2 different scrapbook papers on which I painted with acrylicpaint and used a leaf template. That created a background that inspired me to make this fantasy world.

One card, two versions

De nieuwe butterfly fairy heb ik gecombineerd met oa de hummingbird stempel. Hiermee maakte ik twee kaarten die bijna gelijk zijn. Het enige verschil is de kleur van de inkt waarmee ik stempelde. Ik stempelde op de eerste kaart met donkerbruine inkt. Op de tweede kaart stempelde ik met verschillende kleuren inkt. Welke vind jij het mooist?

The new butterfly fairy stamp combines perfectly with the hummingbird stamp. I made two almost identical cards with them. They ar practically the same, except for the colours I used for stamping the images. On the first card I stamped with dark brown ink. On the second one I used various colours to stamp the main images. Which one do you like best?

stap voor stap paddestoelen kaartje

Deze nieuw serie paddestoelen stempels stimuleren mijn fantasie. Ik combineerde Fungus Fairy Tales met XL stamps: Funky Fungus maakte deze kaartjes.

Hieronder zie je stap voor stap hoe ik deze heb gemaakt.

veel plezier

ik starte met het maken van een achtergrond, gewoon door wat te sprayen met een inkt spray, in dit geval dylusions spray in geel en groen.

Daarna maak je het nog wat spannender door een stencil met kleine print te gebruiken en kleine stempels. Ik gebruikte de rondjes uit en het bloemetje van ....

Ja en dan het leukste werk. stempel met een waterproof inkt, ik gebruikte archival ink.

kleur de afbeeldingen met je favoriete medium, ik gebruikte derwent watercolor potloden en derwent inktense potloden.

Daarna knip je alle afbeeldingen uit.

tot slot plak je alle onderdelen op de kaart in een volgorde die je zelf leuk vindt, ik heb bewust een aantal paddestoelen en rondjes buiten de kaart geplakt.

Daarna maak je nog wat schaduwen rond de paddestoelen, ik gebruik hier graag Adirondack inkt voor omdat je die goed met water kan mengen.

met een kwast, spetter je verdunde witte verf op je kaart.

Plak je kaart op een achtergrond. ik heb zwart gebruikt zodat de kaart goed afsteekt van de achtergrond en je bent klaar!

Ik maakte twee tags met de nieuwe Fungus Fairy Tales. En natuurlijk zijn ze weer leuk te combineren met andere Art Journey-stempels.
