Vintage Car

 Art Journey released new stamps.  Here's a card I made with the Vintage Cars set, combined with words from the older Summer Girl set.

I used part of an old map as a background here.

Art Journey bracht weer nieuwe stempels uit.  Met de set Vintage Cars maakte ik dit kaartje.  Ik combineerde de stempel met een tekst uit de Summer Girl set, en een stukje van een oude wegenkaart als achtergrond.

Roses

 I "cleaned" a stencil on white cardstock using a minimister, after making another card.  Turned out as a terrific background for these cards :)

Toen ik een stencil reinigde, na een vorige kaart, ontstond toevallig de achtergrond voor deze kaarten :)

Dat verdient een bloemetje

 After seeing cards on blogs, made with bister, I wanted to give it a try too.

Al heel wat kaarten met bister gezien de laatste tijd, dit is mijn eerste poging.

 I added cut out flowers, hand drawn stems and leaves.

Bloemen uitgeknipt, stengels en blaadjes gedoodled.

 I used a layering mask and Distress Ink to sponge the dots.

Rondjes gesponst met behulp van een layering mask en Distress inkt.

Black & White Tags

I wanted to make a card in black a white. But my stamped piece was too large, so I've cut it into two tags :)

Het plan was om een kaart te maken in zwart-wit, maar mijn stempelwerk was iets te groot uitgevallen.  Dus werden het 2 tags :)

First I stamped a text background, with little leafs from the Branches set.

Eerst een achtergrond gestempeld met de Text stempel en kleine blaadjes uit de Branches set.

I stamped the insects with black Archival ink, and colored them with pencils.

De insecten werden met zwarte Archival inkt gestempeld, en met potloden ingekleurd.

Branches and Insects are new stamp sets.

Branches en Insects zijn nieuwe stempels.

Honey Bee - Groetjes

 The giant bee on this card is a new stamp by Art Journey.

I stamped the bee with Archival ink, and colored it with pencils.

Then I masked the bee and sponged the honeycomb background, using a stencil and Distress Inks.

De reuzegrote bij op deze kaart is een nieuwe stempel van Art Journey.

Gestempeld met Archival inkt en ingekleurd met potloden.

Daarna de bij bedekt met een maskertje en de achtergrond gesponst met Distress Inkt en een stencil.

 Love this stamp!

When words escape...

 I used 3 mini stamps from Art Journey and 4 Distress inks to stamp the border.

 Drie ministempels van Art Journey, en 4 kleuren Distress inkt gebruikt om de border te stempelen.

Picture Wheel & Mini Stamps

Een kaartje gemaakt met de Sizzix Picture Wheel stans en de mini stempeltjes van Art Journey.  Die ministempels zijn voorlopig alleen in de winkel en op beurzen te koop.
Na het stansen werd de cirkel gesponst met Distress Inkt #Frayed Burlap en bestempeld met Archival Inkt #Coffee.  De insecten werden gestempeld met Archival inkt #Jet Black en ingekleurd met potloden.  De randen van de vierkantjes werden met Distress Inkt #Broken China gesponst.
On this card I used the Sizzix Picture Wheel with mini stamps from Art Journey.
I inked the diecut with Distress Ink #Frayed Burlap and stamped with Archival Ink #Coffee.
The insects are stamped with Archival Ink #Jet Black and colored with pencils.  I inked the edges of the little squares with Distress Ink #Broken China.

Baby

 Usually I don't do blue or pink baby cards.  So this 1-layer card is an exception.

Eigenlijk maak ik nooit blauwe of roze babykaarten.  Deze 1-laags kaart is echt een uitzondering.

I used a small sticky note to keep a white spot on the card.  I stamped a background using Art Journey's rose stamp and Distress Ink #Victorian Velvet.  After removing the sticky note I stamped the words, safety pin and ladybird/ladybug.  I colored the words and safety pin with a Distress Marker, and the ladybird/ladybug with a pencil.  The shadow was done with a pencil

Een kleine post-it gebruikt om een wit vlak te behouden op de kaart.  Een achtergrond gestempeld met de roos van Art Journey en Distress inkt #Victorian Velvet.  Het plakpapiertje verwijderd, en de tekst, veiligheidsspeld en lieveheersbeestje gestempeld.  Ingekleurd met een Distress Marker (tekst en speld) en een kleurpotlood (lieveheersbeestje).  Schaduw gemaakt rondom het witte vlak met een potlood.

 A Winter card.

Een winters kaartje.

 I used this little foam square while gelli printing a while ago, cleaned it on a sheet of cardstock (that's today's background).

Dit foam blokje gebruikte ik laatst bij het gelli printen, tussendoor reinigde ik het op een kladblad (en dat werd vandaag de achtergrond)

Samen - Together

 A tag, stamped with Art Journey stamps.  I stamped with Archival Ink.  After I had colored the catkins with a white pencil, I sponged the tag with Distress Ink.

Een label gemaakt met Art Journey stempels.  Gestempeld met Archival inkt.  Eerst de wilgenkatjes ingekleurd met een wit potlood, daarna het label gesponst met Distress inkt.

 The birds were stamped on a scrap of colored paper.

De vogeltjes zijn gestempeld op een restje gekleurd papier.

Kerst fotokaarten

 A snowy photo from my archives was used on this nostalgic Christmas Card.

Een nostalgische kerstkaart met een sneeuwfoto uit mijn archief.

 I made some in kraft, some in blue.  I used a stamp from Art Journey's Curly Frame set for the Dutch words.
