Frames

Als lid van het DT van Scrap-Unlimited heb ik deze kaart gemaakt, uitgaande van een frame van rechthoekjes.
Heel veel Art Journey stempels heb ik ervoor gebruikt ! Dit zijn ze:
Gorgeous kids (meisje), Numbers (crackle), Bird boy (gras, vogels en takje), Tulips (vlinder en tulp) Text (tekstje) Butterfly girls (schelp) Nature 3 (takje in kleine vakjes)

In de rechthoekjes heb ik de kleuren gesponst met Distress inkten , buiten het frame heb ik de crackle stempel (Numbers) ingekleurd met kleurpotloden.

Het werd tijd om de kerststempels, die helemaal onder op de stapel

liggen eens tevoorschijn te halen.

Mijn oog viel gelijk weer op de prachtige sterren.

Die heb ik uit de doos gehaald en ben er mee aan de slag gegaan.

It was time to have a look at my Christmas stamps.
They were lying at the bottom of my pile of stamps.
My eyes caught the beautiful stars and
I took them out of their box and got started.

Langzaam aan ben ik begonnen met het maken van kerstkaarten! Dat de nieuwe Art Journey stempels hiervoor ook uitstekend gebruikt kunnen worden, laat ik jullie hieronder zien!

Mixed Media Backgrounds 2

Vorige keer liet ik jullie de eerste 3 kaarten zien van mijn mixed media achtergronden. Na 3 x de bloemen gebruikt te hebben was het tijd voor iets meer variatie.
                                
Last time I showed you the first 3 cards with my mixed media backgrounds. After made 3 cards with flowers it was time for some variation.

Mixed Media Backgrounds 1

Op onze laatste vakantie heb ik heerlijk gespeeld met papier, acyrlverf, templates, stempels, washitape etc. etc. Ik had min of meer 6 dezelfde achtergrondjes gemaakt en heb daar een serie kaarten van gemaakt. Hieronder zie je de eerste 3. 

On out last vacation I had a great time making some mixed media backgrounds. I played with paper, acrylicpaint, templates, stamps, washitape etc. I ended up with 6 more or less the same backgrounds and made a serie of cards.

Below you see the first three.

Art Journey Challenge #73 - Indian Summer

Het is alweer oktober en tijd voor de 73ste Art Journey Challenge. Dit keer mag ik, Corine, het thema kiezen. Deze maand gaat het om het gebruik van kleuren van de Indian Summer. Ben heel benieuwd naar jullie interpretatie van dit thema. Je hebt t/m 28 oktober de tijd om mee te doen. 

Uit de deelnemers wordt er een willekeurige winnaar geloot die een Art Journey tegoedbon krijgt van 10 euro!

Voorwaarde om deze tegoedbon te winnen is dat je alleen Art Journey stempels gebruikt.
