Eerst en vooral wil ik iedereen die deelnam aan de Art Journey Challenge #23 heel hartelijk bedanken! 

Er waren heel veel leuke inzendingen. Hieronder vind je mijn 5 favorieten. Echt geen makkelijke keuze want ik zag wel heel veel mooie steekjes passeren deze maand!

Op 1 augustus maakt Godelieve het thema van de nieuwe uitdaging bekend. Het wordt iets leuks dus hou het hier in de gaten!

Vandaag heb ik een hele leuke workshop gegeven "uit de oude doos". Omdat ik geen recente voorbeelden had heb ik oa. bovenstaande kaart gemaakt. Weer erg leuk om te doen. De cursisten hebben ook een leuke middag gehad en gingen met ware kunstwerken naar huis. Alle stempels zijn van Art Journey. De sheets: Roses en Beautiful Roses/ Today I teached a workshop with an old technique. As I didn't have any cards with stamps I still sell in the store I made a few new example cards of which the card above is one of them. The people attending the workshop had a great afternoon and went home with their own "masterpieces". All stamps used are from our own stamprange "Art Journey". I used the sheets Roses and Beautiful Roses.

 A tag with shells.

Een label met schelpen.

 I colored my paper first, with Distress Inks on a non stick craft sheet, and stamped with StazOn ink.

I used a Distress Marker to add shadow and a gelpen to add highlights.

 Ik kleurde mijn papier eerst met Distress inkt op een craft sheet, en stempelde met StazOn inkt.

Met een Distress Marker en witte gelpen accentjes aangebracht.

Stitches

Twee kaarten gemaakt met steekjes. De linkse met handgemaakte kruisjessteken, de rechtste met naaimachine steken. 

De Art Journey uitdaging van deze maand gaat over steekjes. Er is nog tijd om deel te nemen tot 28 juli. 

Used stitches on both cards. Handmade cross stitches on the left hand-side, machine stitches on the right hand-side.

The theme of the Art Journey challenge of this month is stitches. Still possible to participate until July 28.

Hier gestempeld met Distress Markers in de kleuren 'Spun Sugar' en 'Pumice Stone'. 

Did the stamping with Distress Markers 'Spun Sugar' and 'Pumice Stone' here. 

Lintje langs de randen gekleefd en 4 kruisjessteken gemaakt met Scrappers Floss.

Attached some ribbon and made 4 cross stitches with Scrappers Floss.

Houten bloemetjes en Hero Arts plakparels.

Wooden flowers and Hero Arts sticky pearls.

Voor deze kaart de rozenstempel beïnkt met Versa Magic 'Pixie Dust' 

Used Versa Magic Ink 'Pixie Dust' to stamp the roses.

Roze stiksels gemaakt op vellum.

Molding paste / reliëf pasta

Wat een leuk effect krijg je met een template en reliëf pasta !! Voor het kleuren, na het drogen van de pasta,  van de achtergrond heb ik Lyra krijt gebruikt.Stempels: Art Journey.

Verslaafd, dus wordt vervolgd ! :-D

A Thing of Beauty

Vandaag een kaartje met uitsluitend Art Journey stempels.

De achtergrond is gekleurd met acrylverf en gesso.

A card with exclusively Art Journey stamps today.

Colored the background with acrylic paint and gesso.

De spreuk op de linkerkant stempelde ik op groen tissue papier. Op de kaart gekleefd met gel medium.

The quote on the left-hand side is stamped on green tissue paper. Attached it to the card with gel medium.

Gestempeld met StazOn 'Teal Blue' en Archival Inkt 'Jet Black'.

De witte tekst is gestempeld met Distress Stain 'Picket Fence'.

I did the stamping with StazOn 'Teal Blue' and Archival Ink 'Jet Black'.

The white text is stamped with Distress Stain 'Picket Fence'.

Een zwart-wit kaartje voor een nieuwe woning.

 Love this giant birdhouse stamp by Stampendous.

Het reuzevogelhuis is een stempel van Stampendous, ik vind hem prachtig!
