Guest Designteam member: Rosemarie Schirrmeister

Af en toe zullen we op onze Designteamblog ook een gast Designteamlid begroeten. Deze eerste keer is dit Rosemarie Schirrmeister. Rosemarie doet vaak mee aan onze challenges en ook op Facebook is haar werk vaak door ons opgemerkt. Toen we haar vroegen om zich voor te stellen en wat werk voor ons te maken ging zijn daar graag op in. Hieronder zie je het resultaat.



Once in a while we are planning to invite a guest Designteammember. This first time we are happy to introduce Rosemarie Schirrmeister. Rosemarie often joins our challenges and on Facebook we frequently saw some of her lovely work, so we were happy that she said yes to our question to do some work for us.

Hi, I'm Rosie and I'm in the sixties. I live in the beautiful Lower Saxony, Germany. I have been on early retirement since 2005 (having worked as a bank secretary) and trying out a lot of hobbies as knitting or wood working before I began making cards. Mainly 3D cards at the beginning. I was a member of some crafting forums and liked the shown stamped projects so much, that I started stamping in 2009. At that point it was quite costly I have to admit... I still enjoy stamping a lot! 

I own a rather large collection of stamps. I especially like collage- and scenery-stamping. But I also like stamping and colouring landscapes.

I love romantic and metal Steampunk. It's the combination of steam engines for instance with beautiful women and/or men with moustaches, flowers or metal embellishments, I love and like to create with my projects.

Louise asked me whether I would like to make a few things as a guest Designer, I said of course enthusiastically. I hope that you like my work. I only used Art Journey stamps, they are so wonderful.
